Welcome BD. How long have you been training?
I hit the gym often in my 40s, tapered off in my 50s, then suffered a stroke in 2020 which temporarily paralyzed the entire right side of my body. As part of my rehab, I set up a basement gym (think COVID) and started lifting weights again. I have some lasting neuromuscular damage, but my right side is now almost on my par with my left, although if you look closely you can still see a difference in muscle sizes left versus right. Despite that, once I got my six-pack back, I decided to take things to the next level by preparing for amateur bodybuilding competition. Hell, even if I never bring home a trophy or even compete, the anti-aging benefits of bodybuilding are worth it to me.... OOPS, you asked me what time it was, and I told you how to make a watch!
