I can usually eat just about anything pre-w/o by adjusting the time after eating it before lifting. I just like a small meal, nothing heavy and to train 1-2 hours later....actually prefer 90-120 minutes mostly. I don't train for long sessions, about an hour, then hit my post-w/o meal/shake. Anyway, just started the following pre-w/o, lol:
170 grams NF Greek Yogurt (plain)
1T Splenda
25 grams whey (True Nutrition Red Velvet)
17g collagen
Mix that up, then add:
41 grams of rice crispies.
Stir it up and chill it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
It tastes like a cheesecake flavor almost. You can eat it immediately after as well, and it has a crunchy texture. Both are cool, but I prefer waiting as it has a spongy mouth texture. I need to try other flavors of protein. I'm sure any would work. I'll try chocolate tomorrow, but I also just ordered their Lemon and marshmallow flavors that should come in later this week. I imagine it could be eaten anytime of the day or night as well.
