Sorry I missed how tall you are my bad. I will be 48 this summer too but I am not able to carry 300lbs in each hand, you are very strong :)

Ya its fun looking better than the 30 year old kids ;) now if I could just get my lower back not to hurt anymore I would be set :)

I've always wanted to incorporate Strongman training. I feel I can be pretty good being bottom heavy endomorph. Keep us posted woodwise!

My most excellent trainer says strongman is a good compliment to Bodbyilding training. Are you a Bber or Pler?

My last workout this week, prior to the Maine Strongman on Saturday. And it's a light one, to work out the last of that Charlie horse in my left bicep.

EZ Bar curls
50 x 10 x 3

supersetted with
Standing Triceps Overhead Extensions
50 x 10 x 3

Hammer Curls
30 x 10 x 3

Triceps Extension
40 x 10 x 3

Had a nice pump by the end!

No sign of pain in my left bicep. . .

Now it's time to start carbing up for the Strongman!

I can't wait to hear about your Strongman competition. Hope that you have someone available to take pictures and/or videos - even if you don't share them with us (although I hope you would), but just have them for your own personal record.
