I am a bodybuilder who recently added strongman to keep it fresh.
The past two years, under the guidance of an amazing trainer, I have hit much higher weights and reps and intensity in my workouts. Last Saturday during strongman training I did a farmer walk with 300# in each hand, using straps (straps are not allowed during competition, but they sure do help during training)!
600# does not quite seem human to me and when I asked my trainer whether it was real he said "Hell yes, that there's monster status." I can't tell you what that did for my morale. Hell I am 48 years old and making huge gains and achieving my lifelong bodybuilding dreams and now my new strongman goals.
So I am dedicating this, my new journal, to achieving Monster Status and to record my journey there.
