Aug 15, 2017 I have pondered the connection between eating, training post food intake and my problem with ance. To qualify: I have been lifting since 1975. Oh yes, I remember protein powder requiring a blender and mind over matter. Here I am mid 50's with a few pimples on my shoulders (again). Last week I fasted for a blood draw, crammed down a meal in the parking lot and drove straight to the gym and hit quads. 2-3 days later like clockwork I am breaking out. This is a pattern. This might not sound like big deal but 40 something years of scars, embarrassment and those blood stains on my gym tanks never made the "doesn't bother me" list. I require at least 1.5hrs hours post meal, 2 hours and no acne for over a year.
