Bro that is called a buddy shoot and have done it many, many times with success out to 1000 yards.
The funny thing is, you all think I am joking. No, we do actually practice shots like this as snipers. The only issue I see is that they are not using the sling properly. You are supposed to run the sling over their shoulder and under their crotch, pulling it tight for extra stability. Even better if you can wedge a pack under them for bracing.

We practice many other buddy shoots, but it seems the gayest one (this) is the most stable.

Im just an old deer hunter , never made long shots like that. Would be cool to try , my best shots were a lil over 400 we paced it off with .308 from the stand on an 8ptr.

Doe I hit in the chin lil over 150 with steel sights with my old mans lever action .44 Marlin ... we saw her out of the corner of our eyes on the edge of the field , i dropped to a knee n let one fly ,, ol man and brother teasing me i shot to fast and missed ... we went to look for hair n blood ,, hit her in the chin came out her ear hole haaahahah fuck you guys

Luckiest shot that ill call my best ever was with a .480 pistol , Super Redhawk , 75 yds maybe lil less ,,, hit a rabbit in the back of the head and when we looked it took most of his guts with it .. didnt have shit like to clean he went right in the game vest pouch

This last one I was just a kid still , first big deer of my life , 4th largest in the state that year , Got me in the Big Bucks Club , 12 pt dressed out with no guts he was still 214 .... was like eating an old boot.

The only time I have ever missed a deer is when I spent more than a second getting a sight picture and squeezing the trigger. The faster I shoot, the better. I have pulled off snap shots on deer from the standing position out to 400 yards and hit them right in the vitals many times. It is when I get into a good stable position and take my time that I end up hitting them in the guts, neck, spine, etc... If they are moving even better. I am not talking an all out run, but all the way up to a trot, is good to go in my book. I had a bruiser running across the field chasing a doe at about 325 yards. I grunted and yelled, "stop", to no avail, so I just pulled the rifle up and shot. I watched him mule kick, run about 50 yards and bulldoze into the ground. My son thinks there isn't a shot I cannot pull off. Haha. I assured him, I have missed plenty. Just not with him there.

That was my dad , much as I cant stand him he could shoot and taught us. He was known for it , once we moved to Maine he hunted with a Marlin .44 and it was the only one in the family.

Had a real distinct sound compared to the 308's and 30-30's we had or my uncles 30-06 , it was a boom not a crack. An you would hear it go off near dark usually just at sunset ... and my mother would say ,, Daddy got a deer .... it was just automatic lol , so if anything I got it from him.
