:(

LG, outside of your fine woman, you have to be one of the unluckiest guys I know when it comes to injuries and bad shit happening to you. It's almost like we need to come up with an anti-injury and disaster plan for you year-to-year. I swear, when you go MIA, i'm always worried and giving prayers you are healthy, safe.....and alive, lol! When you post, i'm praying it's something good and not something serious. You always have me on my heals hoping you are good my man. You deserve nothing but good in your life, it is well deserved, and this shit is so depressing when I read it.

I guess there are worse things that could happen, but Jesus, give this guy a break already:cool:

Love ya brother, get well soon and stay safe, and always keep in touch, my friend!!!
I have known you longer than anyone else on the boards BMJ it must be about 20 years total holy shit time flies
You have always been super stand up and I think the only dude that knows all about my history medically and otherwise
I refuse to quit or slow down and always pushing and playing so Stuff happens but I was 9 months on that bed in Bethesda so no more laying around for me brother
I truly appreciate your support and friendship through the years and you are a welcome guest anytime in Havazu or the cabin in Montana during the summers.
Godspeed my fine friend

Oh man I’m so sorry to hear this LG. I know you’ve been through a ton of injuries, and always bounce back stronger.

@Littleguy it seemed like this happened at the end of your workout, and so you were already warmed up. You have any tips on how to prevent this from happening? This is actually one of my top concerns because I like to benchpress and train chest often.
When you get older hold back just a little would be my suggestion like 90% instead of 110
And definately stretch and warm up more and longer than you think is enough
Cheers brother

Thanks good advice. I’ve been doing my best to abide by that, and I’ve been fortunate so far thar these last couple of years I’ve had no major injuries.

Although, admittedly I do push it once in awhile with bench pressing, chest day. Maybe it’s an ego thing, and I hate to realize I’m just not as strong as I used to be years ago.
