Hey im happily married too but i like just knowing i could get the ass- lol!

If you aint worked legs in so long- are you sure your lower back isnt doing to much of the work?
And have you strengthened your legs with other exercises? And how heavy are you squatting?
Maybe your legs arent strong enough- lol

Whats your pct clomid, nolva both? I want to eliminate any kidney issue is why i ask. Another possible underlying cause could be over active adrenals. Clen could cause this usually post use and so could CNS stimulants. Just be aware of these underlying possibilities. If this is a concern you could pm me and we can discuss cycle and history stuff.
also to rule out- you have no low back injury history do you?
Youre not overworking the lower back especially on the squat day are you?
I still think yoga and or some inner ab work will be your answer but
You need to add some twisting exercises to your ab work too.

I got this awesome book with some sissy inner ab work crap in it ill see if i can scan it and post it or e-mail it to you.

PCT is torem at 60mgs/day after a frontload of 120mgs day 1&2. This PCT is going ridiculously well, especially compared to my recent PCT failure back in July/August (check out the thread in the PCT Sub-Forum). Only other thing I'm running right now is GHRP-6 and GRF 1(29) three times a day at 100mcg each. Will be jumping on slin and igf-des if I start to lose much size, but so far, it hasn't been necessary. No serious lower back issue, slight compression when an IED took out the humvee I was in on a convoy in iraq about 2 years ago. Fucked my knee all to hell but not my back so much. Had surgery on the knee right away in Germany, and then another 5 months ago, but the back has never really been an issue until now. If you can post up that "sissy" inner ab work stuff that would be much appreciated. Thanks apollo.

Ill get to it as soon as possible. I dont have a scanner but can get it done. Sounds like you feel its probably the same thing i do. And well, youre probably right bc you know you better than anyone.

If you can gain access through a library or online:
"Peak Performance Fitness" by Jennifer Rhodes is excellent!

Ok guys... I have had killer lower back pain off and on for the last few months...

And like most of you I tried all of this..

first I thought poor form... no
second... weak abs/core... Nope (I am IRONcore ;) )
Third tight hams/erectors... Noooope...
Foam rollers stretching etc... those helped but it never went away...

after spending the weekend laying on the floor with my back in agony I went to the Chiro...

Guess what... according to the Doc... had my core and back not been "so strong" I would most likely not be able to walk do to the pain... however... since they were so strong they were keeping my vertebrae from rubbing in my lower back...

My hip had gotten so out of wack that my left leg was 1/2" shorter than my right when lying down...

After getting re-alligned and rubbed back into shape my back feels alot better... however i still have the issue of my vertebrae being too close together in my lumbar region... the cause... HEAVY SQUATS!

I have been reduced to no squatting or dead lifts until I am cleared by the doc... which may be never at this point... all in all...

GO GET YOUR BACK CHECKED AND QUIT GUESSING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!!!

This is a very relevant post Core, Ive dealt with the same problem you mention myself. One dip shit even recommended I add an extra insole to my shoe under the foot of the mysterious shrinking leg. I actually did try that for like a week and found relief as far pain goes but quickly realized that this compensatory strategy was exacerbating the underlying issue. I love my Chiro but always hate the initial visit because I hate the Dx tests, X-rays, and BS involved because I know its leading to a myriad of weekly visits and a lighter pocketbook. Dude bashed me into the table for a couple of months and magically my pelvis came back into alignment and the shorter leg now met his brothers length. Spinal alignment and health is a tricky thing with so many variables to consider when prescribing treatment.

^^^ good couple of posts- i got adjusted yesterday myself and can now walk again but usually when vertebrea tinge on a nerve the spasm wont not be there when not squatting. But its a possibility. And even core strength of the rectus adominis, external obliques and internal obliques wont be stabilizing enough to hold the spine stable during squats as a strong transversus abdominis.

Another hugely important matter is not strength of the contraction of the transversus but TIMING of the contraction of the transversus. The transversus should activate 1st- prior to the other muscles involved in the movement.

While i believe in chiropractic as a form of healing and curing i do not believe it is a complete treatment for most problems.

I have adjusted over 1,000 times and probably 500 ppl and i was trained by a few different chiropractors i have been friends with ALOT of students from life college in GA. Considered 1 of the best chiro schools in narion.

Heres the problem i have with it: 1- theres only money in treatment not cure.

What happens if it is a vertebrea tinging on a nerve and its causing spasms? It gets put back in place and solves the problem but if those stabilizing muscles including the transversus doesnt have the strength to hold the spine in place nor the timing to activate before the spine can move at all- the problem will re appear and thats good for the chiropractor bc then he has business.

There is a general spill about subluxations that all chiropractors are taught and most put it in their own words(varies) slightly. But their goal to stay in business is to treat you. Chiropractic has its purpose and its place. I have no problem with it in general and sometimes in situations where a rare occurance happens to cause a subluxation it is a cure. But with the perfect adjustment and a weak transversus and or mistimed transversus- the problem will re occur.

A strengthened and properly activating transversus will also realign the spine as will yoga in many instances but a primary or even short term treatment with chiropractic may very well help and be part of the treatment but if he is to keep squatting and keep from reoccuring the underlying causes must be stopped not treatment of the symptoms. Or if his degeneration is too far gone and those other tries dont work i guess he can quit squatting and rely on chiropractic. And his lighter pocket book should make some chiropractor very happy. Lol

By the way funny but not: my need for chiropractic was caused by blunt force trauma- my dumb ass stepped on a wet boat with generic crocs on called "coquis"(a puerto rican frog) and all 240 lbs of my dumbass self came down on my ass! And whats worse its the 2nd time it happened within a yr! Note to self- wear your fishing or deck shoes when boat is wet apollo the dumbass! Lol

Shit bro.. I am used to changing dirty diapers... I think in your case I would just break out the water hose... excellent way to potty train btw... esp in winter...

Don't worry though... you will be in good hands... We can take our meds together... For entertainment purposes we pass out viagra and import strippers on Friday and Saturday nights at IC's Old Folks home and Bar and Grill...

i was pondering this subject during treadmill walking and squats today. it seems like there are lots of thoughts on what one should or shouldnt do or needs or doesnt need to do. does one stretch? do yoga? warm up with cardioish stuff? strengthen core? bottom line, everybody has different needs and will respond to different ways of dealing with it depending on their individual issue.

i hate stretching have never stretched before lifting and never will stretch, so i would be all over Ketsugos post about how worthless it is :D that doesnt mean that for somebody else, as some have stated, that stretching might fix their issue. be it static stretching or yoga or whatever one wishes. a strengthening ones core should always be thought of although i would think for most here in this group, outer core strength shouldnt be an issue.

i will say for myself, having suffered from back issues, what has helped my back more than anything is taking a soma with 800mg of ibuprofen every night! i have done this for years now and my back rarely ever bothers me anymore when it used to kill me daily! why does it work? my theory is that by relaxing the muscles when they are in a non weightbearing non supportive state by laying down it allows for greater blood flow to the smaller muscles and soft tissues of the vertebral area thereby allowing the anti inflammatory effects of the ibuprofen to go in and clean things up! as we get older or have had old injuries daily life stresses the vertebra and then adding weightlifting on top of it, it isnt too much to think of the stress and chronic inflammation that is present in the soft tissues surrounding the vertebra. why not help them out as much as possible :)

like IC said, if one hasnt had xrays done or been evaluated by a competent professional then that is always a good way to go keeping in mind that often they will give you a diagnosis that isnt always accurate or the reason but fits the symptoms and gives you an answer. most people want an answer and most professionals have learned to give you one even if it isnt 100% correct :D
