Yes I am on TRT legit. Started off at around 43 yrs of age with a test level of 119, urologist prescribed me cream and I later migrated to a sports rejuv clinic which gave me injectable test. I reached test levels of 1500 which I didn't need...I was still getting dialed in. It was quite expensive so I found an online clinic which saved me quite a bit. I migrated once again to finding a source underground due to the expense. I was never trying to simply achieve "normal" levels, not greedy just want to be slightly above. Currently I'm back on legit gear through my primary...200 mgs every 7 days. My last test levels were 1008 and now at 55 my Dr. said I'm too high and wants me to dial back. Longer story short...when should I back off 200 mgs to achieve test levels around 800 as he suggests. I'm think a couple of weeks prior to testing I inject around 150-175mgs to get me to his number. Thoughts?.. I know you veterans will tell me I'm leaving a lot of info out but I feel this is enough to get some input. Thanks in advance.

Too hard to tell. Give it a test run and pull your own labs. At 100 mg (2x) a week my levels were just over 1000, but my blood was thick as mud. I told my doctor I was going to switch up my protocol to 25 mg a day, so 175 mg a week. It took me down to 829 and my blood is better. Still high, but not as bad as before. My doctor liked it enough that he blessed off on it and prescribed me the pins to do it. Instead of sending me enough 3 ml syringes with 25 g pins for 2 shots a week they send me 1 ml syringes with 29 g pins for every day (20 weeks worth).

Run serial labs after your last injection, every 5 days for 3 sets of labs (shot on Day 1, Labs on Day 5, 10 and 15 with no additional inj). Don't change your dose, just figure out how long after your last shot you need to draw labs. If you're at steady state from a long period of weekly 200 mg inj, it shouldn't be hard to figure out. It all depends on how you metabolize the drug. No one can predict that with certainty. Graph the results and figure out when to draw the labs. Having said that, you'll probably do better with an every 5 day inj frequency of 100 - 120 mg TC or TE. Should keep you in that 700 - 1000 range. My non-medical opinion.

I'm no one to advise on test levels. Mine were just tested at 5900. Some of the guys who have known me a long time know I love super high doses. Although it makes me irritable, it makes me huge. Haha..

Serious though, what does your blood work look like? If your blood work is good then the doctor should simmer down. My doctor sees my test levels, it bothers him a little. But my blood values are pretty good other than creatinine , nitrogen and BUN. And I'm about 360lbs, so that stands to reason. He gives me "the look" and then continues on and drops the issue. My opinion is if you feel good and your blood work is good, what is the harm?

Have you thought about posting your blood work to the group here?

This explains a lot, and raises a ton of questions too, but I digress.

OP - Wilson gave great advice on how to accurately determine YOUR specific needs and values. I’m also an ED pin guy now like GF, also because it makes me feel healthier at the same dose.

Well worth the couple hundred you’ll pay for 3 male hormone panels.

Care to share yor cycle? I was training a guy about a decade ago and he freaked when he got his test levels checked.
He was taking around 1250 mgs of Prop a week. Test levels were 7000. Everything else was in range bloodwork wise. I didn't do his cycle but told him he could lower it and he said no I feel fantastic! So why stop. LOL.

Honestly, I am not like you guys. I am not detail oriented with my cycles, diet, etc. I'm not attempting to body build anymore where I am paying attention to everything. Now I'm just a large strongman who feels good eating like a pig and lifting heavy. Haha..I feel I recover well on lots of test. Truthfully, I knew I was high, but not this high. Figured I was running around 3000-3500 right now. But I'm running some test I got in a trade. Not the usual test I get. It seems to be overdosed.

200 mg a week Tcyp puts me at around 1200.
That’s split 2x p.w.
If I was trying to get 75% of that number I would take 25% less and see what that does,
For timing I would give it 2-3 weeks , maybe even one month before the testing

Guys, I was always told to run blood at a trough, so the typical advice is to have blood pulled just prior to your injection. Say you are going every 7 days, you really need to have blood draw on the morning of the 7th day before your next injection. If for instance you go M, W, F, you plan testing on Monday morning before your injection. I do 60mg of TU every 5 days so it really make little difference when I do the blood work. The troughs and peaks are almost non-existent. But I do schedule appointment on the before my injection on the 5th day. My doctor does testing every 3 months. I test T, E2, BMP, Lipid Panel, and CBC. Once a year he also does PSA. My test level as of yesterday was 928ng/dl.

My doctor started me off on test cyp, 150mg every 10 days. I went in for testing after a few weeks and it T level was 2130. Way too high for my age. It fuck my E2 and Hematocrit and took quite a few months to get it back to normal. So dosing is VERY individual, yet doctors love these one size fits all protocols.

Also, please test for Cystatin C. Studies show AAS can cause Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis as well as other fibrotic and glomerular damage regardless of other healthy markers.

No do it yourself online company seems to offer this test. I have looked. Do you know of one?
