She is an 18 yr old record breaking female power lifter. There was a story on my opening page about how she died very quickly from an infection. Anyone heard about this? They didn't get into specifics like how the infection occurred. I'm thinking an infection from an inj. site, or bad gear, etc etc. Really weird how it happened so quickly.

How tragic. Hard to believe that she didn't have the infection for several days before she went to the hospital, but who knows. Is it safe to say that sepsis was ultimately the cause of death?
