Latest labs. I have been fighting borderline bad lipids and poor iron and blood chemistry for a few years. These are the best yet. Protocol as follows (unless noted, all daily).

25mg Test P
20mg Mast P
20mg Primo E
300iU hCG (M,W,F)
10mg Anadrol (added over a month ago)

HS CRP 1.6 NORMAL
-Double from last labs in September. Still normal, but...

AST 33 NORMAL
ALT 36 NORMAL
-About twice my normal. Probably the Anadrol. Going to stop next week. Makes me hungry as hell and is causing BP issues, even at such a low dose. Definitely helps in gym, but it's just not sustainable.

TESTOSTERONE, TOTAL, MS 1078 NORMAL
TESTOSTERONE, FREE 398.4 HIGH
ESTRADIOL,ULTRASENSITIVE, LC/MS 28 NORMAL
-Pretty good overall. E2 maybe a little low considering other values.

SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN 3 LOW
-No surprises here.

DHEA SULFATE 14 LOW
-Sigh. Always a problem, and oral and even transdermal supplementation cause serious issues with irritability... even low doses.

HEMOGLOBIN A1c 5.5 NORMAL
-Honestly I'd rather it be lower, but it's still within range.

RED BLOOD CELL COUNT 6.30 HIGH
HEMOGLOBIN 17.3 HIGH
HEMATOCRIT 54.0 HIGH
-Not surprising.

IRON, TOTAL 135 NORMAL - Previously 48.
IRON BINDING CAPACITY 574 - Previously 504.
% SATURATION 24 NORMAL - Previously 10.
Ferritin (serum) FERRITIN 9 LOW - Previously 8.
-This has been a long-term issue and has led to shitty blood chemistry, but there has been improvement. Going to keep doing what I've been doing. My body seems starved for iron, but this has been going on for years and years. Maybe there is a certain amount of "catch-up" going on. I really expected Ferritin and Iron to improve in tandem, so I'm not sure what to think about this situation. Blood chemistry is below and is mostly normal, and it hasn't been this "good" until now.

MCV 85.7 NORMAL - Previously 78.3 (LOW).
MCH 27.5 NORMAL - Previously 23.7 (LOW).
MCHC 32.0 NORMAL - Previously 30.2 (LOW).
RDW 15.6 HIGH - Previously 19.2 (HIGH).
-These have been slow to improve, but they are improving, particularly RDW.

CHOLESTEROL, TOTAL 147 NORMAL - Previously 188.
HDL CHOLESTEROL 45 NORMAL - Same as last time.
TRIGLYCERIDES 62 NORMAL - Previously 77.
LDL-CHOLESTEROL 88 NORMAL - Previously 126.
CHOL/HDLC RATIO 3.3 NORMAL - Previously 4.2.
NON HDL CHOLESTEROL 102 - Previously 143.
-Good improvement. Lipids were a constant problem until I dropped my year-round Anavar middle of last year. They have continued to make improvements since dropping.

VITAMIN D, 25-OH, TOTAL 62 NORMAL
-Not AAS related but a good lab to get. I supplement with Superior Source 5000iu sublingual tablets daily. I have a real problem with low Vitamin D if I do not supplement.

Overall, these were very good labs for me that show improvement. DHEA is annoying, however. This has been one marker I have not been able to improve.

Nice breakdown beef… maybe bump the HCG to 500iu each time? Could help with DHEA and maybe bump up E2 “just enough”.

Everything looks great, minus the things you already addressed.

The anadrol is very much the culprit of the high AST/ALT. I have not had a single client yet who has used it not come back with elevated scores. Even on just 25 mg 3-4x a week.

What is your protocol for trying to keep your RBC/Hemoglobin/HCT down? If you are donating, it is probably the reason for the iron/ferritin issues. This is the reason I do not donate. I just add in citrus bergamot, nattokinaise and telmasartin then take out vitamin C and watch my iron intake. I have gone from hemoglobin/HCT of 20+/58+ to 17/50 in 60 days doing that.

Good call. I have had labs in the past few years where DHEA was decent, so I thought maybe I had just gotten past whatever was causing it. And if I remember correctly, I was using 500iU of hCG then. The 300iU dose is a relatively recent change in the past 9 months or so. I'll resume 500iU and see how I fare. I can't even recall the reason I reduced it. I think I was just trying to be more efficient with it and find my lowest effective... and then I forgot, and it just became routine.

Yea, the Anadrol no doubt has contributed to a significant amount of water bloat, too. My best improvements with Pull-Ups come from losing weight, and I can tell the extra water has affected them.

Right now, I don't have a protocol for addressing RBC's. Over six months ago, I regularly donated blood for years, which also coincides with my shitty iron/ferritin and blood chemistry. That was my theory as well, and since stopping, things have improved. It seems a very slow process recovering from low iron.

I have tried Citrus Bergamot, and this is going to sound crazy. But it causes major heart palpitations for me every time I take it. Not just one or two but back-to-back. They are very annoying because I can feel them prominently when they happen, and it lasts for hours. I am not sure if it was contaminated with something or not. There weren't many sources at the time, and I settled (unwillingly) on Double Wood, which is relatively new in the past five years or so. All they do is source from overseas and rebrand.

I've never noticed much from Nattokinase, but it doesn't cause problems so I think I will resume it at a higher dose.

I've never heard of taking Telmisartan for RBC's. I had a large stock of it and gave it away.

Vitamin C is an easy one. I used to take it (Ester-C) daily but dropped it.

After listening to Vigorous Steve and one of his deep dives on Cialis, heart palpitations from Citrus Bergamot does not sound crazy at all. Bergamot can have very similar positive and negative effects of Cialis.

Interesting. I Googled the hell out of it and couldn't find anything on it. I also take 20mg of Cialis/Tadalafil daily.

Yeah, if you mixed them together you could likely get some heart issues. Especially, at that dose of Cialis. I only take 5 mg pre-workout and that is more than enough for other activities.

I really have no idea. I just try to eat clean most of the time. Past few months I've done a worse job of that than the past few years but overall the core of my diet is chicken, turkey, tapioca flour (I make crepes with them), rice, and green apples. Crazy how badly the Anavar was affecting them because my diet was locked down even further quite a few labs before this one. I don't take anything supplement-wise for cholesterol.

Yeah, a lot people don't realize that about anavar when they say the side effects are mild. It hits the HDL hard, which will impact LDL.

I just remembered. Now that my lipids are under control, I can get lab-work repeated for my life insurance policy for the best rate. Going to wait a few weeks after Anadrol so my BP goes back down to normal though.
