Kuzmin pulls 689@178 for Drug-Tested WR total - 1675 Raw, no Wraps ([email protected] kgs)

From etwade- Alexey Kuzmin pulls a huge 312.5 kgs / 689 lbs for a new all-time drug-tested WR total at 181 at the IPF Raw Worlds. Although he competed in the IPF 83 kgs / 183 lb weight class, he weighed in at only 178 lbs. This breaks Tertitski's all-time drug-tested WR total by 100 lbs, and is only 30 lbs off Jamie Lewis's un-tested 1705. Kuzmin squatted 265 kgs / 584 lbs and benched 182.5 kgs / 402 lbs.

That was a great pull, thanks for sharing that! My mate has been over there lifting in the 204 class (he finished up 7th place) so I have been lucky to see lots of 'unseen' vids, photos and behind-the-scenes stuff. Looked like a fantastically well run meet and it seems like all of the people that were competing were very well looked after and had a great time over there.

The other deadlift that really impressed me was Krzysztof Wierzbicki pulling a huge 781 in the 204 class ~ and I believe he's a junior lifter. He actually set a WR with his opening pull of 726, even his final attempt looked pretty comfortable. It's probably on YouTube by now, I watched it streaming live and it was pretty damn awesome. He ended up winning the whole thing MF.
