Have you ever tried standing on a box for still legged deadlifts? Just gives you more range of motion.

Ya, I actually pile up my extra rubber mats for this exact reason. It's just not super noticeable in the video that I've done that

Anyway, i can't believe i forgot pin press. I've been sleeping like shit. I feel so stressed. I've applied at quite a few gyms now and nobody responds. Even the apprenticeship where I'd be learning but earning no money, they didn't respond to my application.

I feel like I'll never get experience and then ill never get hired because every job posting wants experience.

A friend of mine was willing to be in one of my youtube videos as I attempted to train her and it went horribly. I thought since she's just a bit older than me, she'd be able to do a lot more than my mom. But that was not the case. She also didn't give a shit and stopped exercises after 4 reps.
I felt so incompetent and lost a lot of confidence thinking I'd be good at this. Now the stress is giving me insomnia.

Don't do that ,,, you can't carry her lack of effort on your shoulders like that. Not with a friend or a client. You will come across people that will not take things seriously , and this is one of those times.

This reflects NOTHING on your ability as a coach or trainer , you could tell she was half assing from the beginning.

Unless folks are serious , you will experience this in every walk of life.


I'm going to let you in on a secret ... the biggest reason people do not train or take lifting serious. You ready ?

They don't enjoy it.

They look at it as a chore a drudge some thing they are forced to do by society.

We LOVE what we do , we feel blessed to do it every time we can , we love how it makes us feel physically and mentally.

No one can teach that kiddo , you either like Ice Cream or you hate it.

This is what separates us from them and always will.

You're a Priestess of Iron the way we are Iron Monks ... we are different , we have the hearts and minds of lions ,, we hunt. Don't let the actions or opinions of the gazelles alter the reflection you see when stop for a drink at the waterhole.

Tip your head back with a smile and fucking ROAR !!!

Yeah, I guess I don't really blame myself for her lack of effort. But me scrambling around because every single exercise wasn't something she could properly do was entirely on me. That couldn't happen with a paid client and that scares the hell out of me
