This is no show stopper but damn if my IT Band doesn't get grumpy from time to time and right now, it's that time. I'm about as sedentary now as I get so I can't blame it on the repetitive motion I get with my summer cardio work; plus I am coming off of a week gym layoff. I do get some hip clicking with this when I push my hip out to the side.
Most of the time stretching and foam rolling it seems to make it feel better. Recently I read an article that suggested stretching and foam rolling can aggravate it. The article did point out why cortical injection do not always work. Seems the injection sometimes misses the bursa all together so they recommend this type of injection to be image guided.
Anyone have a constant go-round with this?
