IPA beer tasting

Out of the 25 IPA and hop beers I've tried at the tasting, these are my picks. The oak aged was awesome, best beer I've tried in a long time.

I can't stand Victory products, they all have a really strange taste that I just can't get over. Prima Pilsner, Hop Devil, Golden Monkey, must be the type of hops. I do like their Storm King though.

Get that list going.

I don't really drink much anymore but do very much enjoy one or two of these on occasion.

I have an old buddy who works for Ballast Point Brewery in San Diego and they have some very tasty looking selections I'd like to try eventually.

I tried IPA about a month ago, tasted like motor oil. I really wanted to like it but just couldnt get used to it.

Thanks for the list, not sure what I can get hold of here that come from outside of NZ but hey you never know.

This one is my favourite in terms of an IPA-style beer, well worth trying if you ever come across it on your shores...

I know I've said this before but I live 20 minutes within 20 craft breweries.
My best friend is a brewer for the 2nd largest craft brewery in the nation (1st is Sierra Nevada out of CA).
I'm kind of a hop head you could say. Almost any IPA with mosaic hops will do it for me.

Love the IPAs. Huma Lupa Licious, Hop Slam, Hoptical Illusion, Two Hearted, Loose Cannon, and Torpedo are some of my favorites.

I bought a four pack a couple weeks back. Although I knew it was going to have have a strong hops taste due to the alcohol content, I still didn't care for it. Call me simple and unsophisticated, but I much rather drink a lager. I like my beer refreshing.

Looks tasty, Cheops.

There's a brewery here called Boneyard Brewery who makes an IPA called RPM (almost 8% abv)
It's simply amazing. If you ever get the chance to try it, check it out.
