Thanks, POB, I've been trying to research as much as possible but I really haven't found a lot. I've heard that protein intake is an issue because it makes the kidney work harder.
Let the doctors do their thing. I had a training partner who donated a kidney to a complete stranger a few years ago.

She went on to break numerous records in PL.

I would say cut out the protein shakes I know you may lose some muscle mass but right now your health has to come first. Feel Beter!!
