Basically, this trial on people actually produced significant increase in muscle volume, but the researchers didn’t think that helped out for the purpose of treating the disease that all of the patients suffered from.

But for bodybuilding?! Who knows.

Seems like there is a formula out there that may be the holy grail for building muscle, but will it ever be safe and available? Probably no for both...

A quick follow up search of the term: activin type IIB receptor (ACVR2B),which is the receptor that is blocked, yields a variety of systemic and metabolic processes that are affected by inhibition of the receptor, including carcinogenisis.

Though I would love to try something that leads to huge increases in muscle growth, I won't be trying anything that could lead to cancer, until it is proven not to.
