A couple of takeaways for me:

1. Trump: Trump lost big in this election cycle. People are simply fatigued with the drama. The GOP needs to thank him for re-aligning the electoral map, brining hispanics and blacks to the party, nominating originalist judges, raising the border as a legitimate issue, and give him the honor that deserves. But he needs to go graciously. The thing is, you and I know he can't do that. He's too big of a narcissist. Everything will always be about him

This is spot on analysis. Trump is done. DeSanctimonious just made Trump his bitch.

2. The election process has to be fixed. I'm fine with states doing things their own way. That's federalism, and specifically set forth in the Constitution. But how is a populous state like FL able to have accurate results the night of the election, and votes are still being "counted" in small population states like AZ and NV? Figuring out how many votes you "need" and then dragging out the process over days or more undermines everyone's faith in the integrity of the process. We need to go back to Tuesday voting. Our parents and grandparents did it. If you want to vote, get off your ass and go to your local precinct. If democracy is so sacred, and I think it is, then show me by investing 30 minutes of your time once every two years.

Nobody really wants to fix the election process. Both sides want to win elections at any and all cost regardless of how the American people vote.

3. On what planet does a candidate like Fetterman win? PA should be mocked continuously for electing a person who was an idiot before his stroke, and is now a complete mess. We should be mocking his service as a Weekend at Bernie's fiasco for the next six years.

Both parties' cult members would vote for a fly covered pile of dogshit rotting in a gutter.

4. Independent voters: you had a choice in the midterms. law and order vs. no bail release, secure border vs. open border, accountability for gov't agencies vs. the present circus, GOP stupid spending vs. Dem stupid spending. You made your choices, but I don't understand your thought process. The recession affecting the labor market is coming over the next 6-9 months, and the WH solution will be another $3 trillion in spending so that worthless POS can sit at home and play video games because flipping burgers is beneath them.

It's really cool that Americans get to vote for which corporate masters we want to rule us.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

HTF did fatass Pritzker get re-elected in IL...oh yeah...Chicago corruption at its finest.

Trump really needs to go. He divided the country and now the republican party. Stole MAGA from Reagan and switched parties.
He will never go away. Even if he lost the nomination he'd do a third party and give the democrats a win.
I am no hater but really tiring of his me me me shit.
I was really wrong about the red wave and underestimated how badly most voters went against anyone he propped up.

There is no way Ron is going to beat Trump. Wait until the media starts hitting on him. He got a HUGE dump of republicans the last 2 years who left places like NY, California, NJ, etc. There are other red states where republicans won big, and who also did the same thing that DeSantis did during covid. He is in a bigger state, and if you are going to leave Cali or NY, are you going to move to Florida or a place like Alabama? He benefitted from the natural surroundings of his state (ie weather, etc) because people would rather live there for reasons outside of government. He is an awesome governor, and I like him, but there were other candidates who won big like he and Rubio did. Rubio has been non-existent the last 2 years, like nobody has even really heard anything from him. He didn't do anything special for his turn-around in higher votes. Texas won at higher amounts this year too, from Californians moving there, but it's somehow not spoken about like DeSantis and Florida. They are also right on the border getting decimated by illegals.

The reason DeSantis is on a high right now is because even places like FOX dislike Trump. Fox has lost a ton of viewers the past 1.5 years. They get who they get because the next closest 'conservative' network, which is Newsmax, isn't even on cable. Newsmax has grown big time since 2020.

DeSantis is like a mini Trump. What is he going to do different? He's following all the policies that Trump promoted. DeSatnis is just as 'abrasive' as Trump. If Trump were to drop out today, DeSantis would get demolished by the media. What is he going to do? Is he going to fight back? If he does, why is that different than Trump? Are people going to all of a sudden turn their backs on him like they are doing to trump....because he stands up for himself? If Ron is elected in the primaries as the republican candidate for 2024, and all the funny election BS goes on, is he just going to be like "Well, I have faith in the election process." Like WTF? He is going to go out screaming and saying the same things Trump does, also like what Kari Lake is doing. Why wouldn't he? If he doesn't, then what kind of a leader is that? Of course he will. Dems do the same thing almost every election....Gore, Kerry, Abrams, Hillary, etc, etc. You guys forget that the main reason for Trump going out and continuously putting pressure about the voting is so that they are less likely to do it in the future. If they know they are under more pressure (and this goes for all parties), they will be timider to do it again. Republicans are a bunch of weak weasles. They let the whole voting system get decimated by democrats. They never fought back when they seen the BS. Why would Trump sit back and have faith in those losers? Why is he the only one out there saying anything. He lost a few in the battleground states, where the candidates were not very strong, nor did they even work hard for funding (they got majorly outspent), and people want to throw him under the bus. Dr. Oz ruined himself when he went soft and more moderate. People seen that weakness and voted against him (Independents etc). People like Herschel Walker and other in critical races never went in and tried to get any funding....they basically just went out during speeches, debates, for the news, and commercials. They had no ground games and going out interacting with candidates. How is that Trump's fault? He had to back the same bucket of turd candidates as everybody else who chose to get behind somebody. You can only polish a turd so much. Most of these candidates would not have even got close if it weren't for his backing them. You have that Bicth McConnell going out and spending money against republican candidates, then he drops all his funding a week or so before voting, instead of helpoing the candidates....like who does that crap? You never see that from democrats, they all stick together. McConnell and all the RINO's + some at FOX are all butt-hurt because trump calls them out when they do nothing. They are the same ones hyping DeSantis. McConnell's candidates didn't do crap during the election, they all lost....why should he have a say? Why is he not vilified?

Ron in almost every poll still loses huge to Trump. he's won like maybe 1-2 polls out of a dozen or two. Trump still has the biggest base, why would he just leave? If Ron thinks he can beat him, then do it, but until he gets a larger base, why would Trump just leave?

Going a different direction....Hilary Clinton will win the presidency in 2024. I would have thought she was a long-shot after 2016, but she and her campaign/team are ALL OVER these voting places in 2022. They are learning the process that is giving wins to people like Biden, Fetterman et al. Right now as it is, the dems only have to win a few battleground states. If they put most of their effort into those, along with their lame-duck BS polling and election standards like we've seen, she will win. If republicans have to win Pa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, N.C., and a few others, they better get at it with a better plan and ground game. If they can't find a way to win these states, it doesn't matter how red Florida or Texas is. Republicans have horrendous campaign and ground games, along with getting out funded by stupid margins. They've had since 2016 and 2020 to fix them and they haven't done squat. You can kiss Pa goodbye! You think that state is bad now, wait until Fetterman and Shapiro continue to make it worse. It's going to gho big time blue. It will be like NY where the majority who stay will be mainly democrats. The few republicans will just not show up to the polls, like out here in Cali etc.

Anyway...

I like DeSantis, but I feel people are just following what the media wants them to do on a knee-jerk reaction. Until DeSantis is able to show he can actually pull in a larger crowd, Trump should continue to stay around. Republicans still have a chance to win the last 3 senate seats...and if they do that, then they will be in a good place.

....Sorry...for the long crap read above, lol:(

Haha...no worries man. It isn't directed at anybody here per se. More of what I see going on with the news. And of course, it's just my own opinion. Dude, I have no idea how i typed all that. I went to type something short, then left to go do something. When I got back to the laptop, the news was on, and then I typed the rest...haha. It's no more important than anybody else's post. I agree, what we are seeing with these late election results is non-sense. This doesn't even happen in 3rd world countries...some of them at least. It's so embarrassing, and it just fans air to an open fire. Florida had like 22-23 million votes tallied and counted within a few hours, and places like Arizona only have maybe 2 million, and they are taking their time. Nevada is even worse.

Like the Republicans who run Arizona? Georgia?

Seriously, keeping up with this stop the steal nonsense is a gift to the Democrats. The Republicans can win if they stop with the fucking nonsense. Republicans need to admit they lost, make the necessary adjustments and move on with life.

Well no, Florida had enormous election issues 22 years ago. Bush vs Gore remember? Since then, the election problems in Florida was rectified. Today it’s multiple states with their own ineffective voting rules having election delays during a freaking midterm year?!

Out of genuine curiosity, what has the Democrat controlled White House, Senate, and House majority provided you with over these last two years? @fasttwitch

Yuval Noah Harari will be the first Techno Democide Overlord soon. Shumer will soon table the proposal to bring in UN election monitors for 2024. Shave your heads and get ready for your implants. Then everything will be swell. What is the proper edicate for eating crickets anyways? Meanwhile enjoy the show. The world is a stage.

If the Republicans would have laid out a plan for how they were going to fix the problems the socialists created it might have helped. Trump running around holding his circus rallies and sucking up all the donor money went through the party like a lead balloon.
He should have dumped money in to the races the grim reaper mitch pulled from HIS candidates. I went to a rally of his in 2016 in Selma NC right before the election. We were shopping at the outlets and drove by. We walked around and let me tell you I seen some shit no more nutty than the libs but damn shocking to see it up close. Lol
