When I am going for pure strength I follow 5/3/1 Wendler program. I used the basic 5/3/1 for a long time but the Beyond 5/3/1 is a nice change-up and easy to follow. I use https://blackironbeast.com/5/3/1/calculator to calculate everything, makes it very easy and no thinking at all
When you pull have someone give you the commands, meaning the start command and the down command. You need to make sure you lift without hitching the bar, without putting it down to quick, and of course, finishing it and not having a soft lockout so get those hips through and finish without any knee bend.
