Best comment I ever got from a training partner "there is no dignity is sumo deadlifting"
I did that a few years ago and got my sumo up to 520. Then had to take 6 months off with just being able to do body weight squats and lunges... then came back and pulled conventional for 600, which was like a 65 lbs PR! Rocked conventional for the last year and pulled sumo off 2" blocks and tripled that 520... then went higher and tripled that too. It's ALL related!Was wondering the same thing. Thinking of do just that... training sumo as my main pull for 4-6months.
How'd that carry over to your conventional though?!
