How Big is Your Neck?

I know I have a big neck for my size, but I'm wondering how mine compares to others. Give some stats so we can have an idea of your overall size/condition, and neck measurement flexed (flex your traps). The tape will be at a slight angle higher in the back.

I know someone will ask what you can do for the neck. It's not the ****in' neck harness shit! The answer is deads and shrugs

I can shrug 405 for full clean reps, 365 with a static hold up top, and pull 500.

I'm close to 5' 8", relatively lean, 200lbs with a 20" neck.

My shirt collar size is 19 and a little snug.

5'10" 225-230 year round pretty lean I believe.

I think many on here have the parachute shirt syndrome of buying a dress shirt to fit your neck and tucking 2 feet of material into your pants.

Haven't measured my neck in forever. But for dress shirts I need a 19" neck.

I'm 5' 10.5" tall and weigh 270+

Don't do shrugs but I can pull 600 on a good day.

My neck is 19.5. I have my dress shirts custom tailored. I hate having to pay for it, but the alternative is what LK said.

5'9 200lbs >10%bf. Never measured my neck "flexed" but need an 18.5" in a dress shirt.

I dont really shrug, but have pulled many a deadlift in my time.

Only bad thing about a big neck is I have gotten to the point where if I gain even the smallest amount of fat, I suffer from apnea. Eating up for a few weeks and shifting my water balance, I go from light snoring, to full on choking and stopping breathing. Terrible feeling and one that has motivated me to say leaner permanently.

have to have shirts rebuilt. 6'4 300+ pounds with a pants size 38-42(weight can for from 290-335 depending) means suit jackets and shirts that fit on the neck and have long enough arms are made with enough material to have a small village camp under.

I hate buying dress shirts. I usually just get a shirt that fits good and use the tie to keep the neck button close. Lol.

I have the same problem. My doc even offered surgery to fix the problem. When I breathe I sound like a 600lb fat guy.

I do get my shirts custom made and will say they do last longer and look better than any off the rack crap anyways.
I have bought some from Charles Tyrwhitt in the past that were pretty good quality.

still a lot of extra material though.
