Added a preacher bench since this was taken but it's all I have needed for many years. Good chance I could get away with less if I had too. I think it's more important to use what you have than to just have it.
A home gym during the quarantine period was a great idea. However, I really use it still! It's convenient, safe, and a lot more affordable in the long run
I use both. I am a routine kind of person and workout at the same time each day. I call it retiree time, because the 9-5 people are working. When it is a holiday weekend the base gives the military guys a 72 or 96 hour pass and they flood the gym during the time I like to go, so I stay home and workout in the home gym instead of dealing with the crowd.
Been using my gym, and a commercial gym since 1978. Love having both options.
If I had to pick one, home-gym it would be. Alone with the iron, and not modern day fukk-tards bouncing-about in local gyms...
