High DHEA

TRT @ 200 mgs/wk

I had a complete blood work done. DHEA came back really high. Mine was almost 600 on a 400 limit scale. Never in my life has this hormone been checked.

Could Pregnenolone @ 50mgs a day cause DHEA to be that high?

I don’t supplement with DHEA.

Just wondering anyone’s thoughts or experiences!

It could be from that. More likely its a combination of the TRT and the preg.
Why are you taking the Preg?
Prescription?

The supplement industry is unregulated. There is no way of knowing what you're getting or the dose. Could be DHEA and not Pregnenolone. Could be Pregnenolone increases DHEA. Could be a fluke result, I had my test level come back at 1492 running 100mgs/ week of Test A divided into EOD injections of 30mgs.

I was taking to help with stress and memory.

I use nature’s Plus Pregnenolone.

I’m going to cut back to once a week and see if that changes anything on the next blood draw in 2 months.

But you’re right, who knows.
