I've never been a victim of police violence or abuse. But then I pretty much always obey the laws (I do tend to drive a bit faster than the speed limits on occasion).
I guess since I'm not married to a cop, I must be 60% less likely to experience any violence/abuse from them. So far I am really beating those odds. I should head to the casino or play the lottery, because I must be one of the luckiest people alive.

How about this: Suppose there were a 40% chance you get covid you’d die.
Suppose that driving over a bridge you have a 40% chance of it collapsing.
How about if there were a 40% chance if you fly your plane will crash.
A 40% chance that the next time you drive you’ll be killed.
Would 40% begin to make a difference to your awareness then?
