I would characterize it more as a political coup to remove Biden organized by the DNC’s biggest donors.
He certainly did not leave willfully.
He was forced out.
It seems to me that for all of the fear mongering that the Left wing media has engaged in recently about it being the “end of our democracy” if you don’t vote for Biden.
And then the DNC donors end up forcing a democratically elected president out of office despite being the party’s rightful nominee.
So, if you’re a registered Democrat, your vote doesn’t matter because the DNC’s big donors will end up choosing for you in the end.
The irony of it all.
