UPDATE:

The recovery could be going better. From the hiatal hernia surgery I had years ago I cannot lay down no sphincter at the bottom of the esophagus so digestive acids will find there way into my lungs. The ablation had me flat for 2.5hrs so while I thought the progressive soreness etc was just DOMS turns out it was pneumonia setting in and mixed in was a diverticulitis. each of these on their own probably not a big deal all together not good. The abdominal blockage and distention was putting pressure on my blood flow and my lungs which were filling with fluid from the pneumonia and all of that stuff not great for removing the heart after the procedure. Anyhow I'm still head up leaning forward just a lot slower than I wanted to be. Antiboiotics are helping the pneumonia but I'm still pretty gassed doing small shit. I'm so F'mg ready to have this shit in my rear view but I'm focused on day to day to get myself ready to push ahead.

My heart is doing great 100% in sinus rhythm hasn't had a glitch yet although at some point in the future it's probably going to show back up hopefully not a long while. My resting heart rate during AFIB was in the upper 80's it's back in the 50's with sleeping HR in the upper 40's. One day at a time.

We can stumble fall even lay there and bleed for a while, but as long we get up and charge one more time than we fall , we win.

I have zero doubt he will be back and grinding hard. It isn't in his DNA to stay put or lie down.

Ok I'm kinda back for today I'll just summarize the past couple days

Last week I started walking again 3 X 2mi walks my HR is looking great not going above 82bpm

This week 3 X 3mi walks in 4 days HR not above 80bpm

Two workouts with JB super light super short. Allegedly LOL there is a potential for stroke for three months post ablation. Plus I'm on blood thinners for the same 3 months hopefully I can come off them or at least minimize them as long as I'm not in AFIB. The thinners have a potential to have something internal blow out if you're straining to hard so I'm going to avoid that for the foreseeable future.

My resting HR is avg in the low 50's again which is normal for me when I'm in good shape but a weird part is my sleeping HR is low maybe a little I'm seeing a lot of 46-49 but some 43bpm during sleep.

No more coffee or stimulants. So I guess I really didn't calculate that the parts of the heart that were fluttering that they hit with the pulse frequency ablation have to heal so I have to take it easy while the healing is going on.

I'm not as stir crazy as the prior 4 months had me I'm moving and hopefully on the road to a full recovery. Also as I understand the AFIB most likely will return at some point and each additional ablation obviously isn't a net gain it's a loss each time to some extent in the long range.

There is an alternative to the blood thinners called a watchman it's a divide that can be put in place through a catheter then it sits in the upper part of the heart and breaks up any potential clots. I'm learning about the pros and cons vs the blood thinners so we'll see
