Halo, have you started any progress pics?
No haven’t even considered it for the most part being I’m getting older I feel like I’m more going for how I feel definitely shedding fat is important as well. But now that you mention it, hopefully this heart monitor shit and the MRI stuff turns out to be just a glitch in the matrix and I’ll be able to move past and back to work out. Consider taking some pictures and seeing how it comes out.

Doctor Report

So I just got out of the spine doctor and do some good news. The good news is that the actual cord of the spine doesn’t go down into the area where I’m having the problem so if that thing was to just sever itself off, which doesn’t look like it’s going to, but if it did, it wouldn’t fucking paralyze me so shit in my opinion that’s some, happy days information right there now that being said you could easily see where my thoracic spine was crushed a little bit. You could see where the cervical spine is narrowing in a couple places and you could see where the bottom lumbar is moving unnaturally with flexion and extension, but I told him what I do for weightlifting. He says not a problem just don’t go heavy and he recommended doing things to strengthen my abs and low back and that should be good, unless something goes wrong. Fusion at some point for L5 S1 just not now thank goodness

Every day you get that kind of news is a good day. Dr sounds entirely reasonable too. A lot of them would tell you to quit lifting weights at all and maybe think about water aerobics

Thanks you guys. I really appreciate it and yes, I agree with both of you. I’m really lucky. This is a good guy doctor. Nobody wants to cut or do anything crazy yet and I feel pretty happy that no matter how bad I fuck it up I’m not gonna get paralyzed, I know that sounds stupid to some people but that sounds incredibly positive to dumb ass like me now I’m not gonna go nuts but the guy even told me I could do good morning so I’m gonna go out there and I’m gonna fucking add this shit in hopefully tomorrow morning, I’ll be my first day back in the gym and everything will be Back to normal pain and stupid agony that I’ve been dealing with for 20+ years except I’m getting stronger again and I appreciate all the support you guys give me it back like minded people because you can’t have these conversations with fucking Normie’s it just doesn’t work

Back to one step forward two steps back. Heart monitor results came back afib for two straight weeks and unfortunately it’s still going on. I’m wearing my garmin monitor keeping my eye on it. Lots of bloodwork and procedures coming up I’m taking metropolol and elequise they’re going to do a Cardioversion next month to try and put the heart back on rhythm I also have an echocardiogram so we shall see. Definitely some shit I didn’t expect to be dealing with.

58yo 275lbs fat boy right now angry about my condition. I’ve been walking a lot 8-20mi a pop1,300mi since Nov 23 been working out at the Purple Barney gym for three months doing full body 5 sets 10 reps just trying to shake the rust off. I hope I can provide some entertainment and inspiration for others advice is welcomed. Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to come along for the ride.
I feel you, Bro. I am 68 and was at 265 last December. Down to 218 now, with target weight of 209 for Classic Physique competition. No drugs or shortcuts, just a completely new and healthy diet, and a lot of time downstairs in my basement gym. Biggest diet change was/is no more fried foods or alcohol. Best weight-burner in the gym was/is 45 minutes on the treadmill wearing ankle weights.
