IIRC it was Arthur "Nautilus" Jones who first pointed out that the Muscle doesn't know how much weight is on the Bar or Machine ... it only knows what it feels like.

Hopefully the Muscles, and the Mirror, will make us proud ... while bones, tendons, and ligaments whisper "thank you" for many years to come.

*** might not be the best way to train to reach our OL, PL, BB peaks, but for the been-there-done-that crowd whose peaks were at whatever level, it minimizes potential problems while still feeling like "I really DID something in the Gym today!"
Thanks so much for your insight bro it's greatly appreciated. I'm interested to see how it goes, does it cut, grow, both and at some point are there variations that can target one of those specifically. As you are alluding we've lifted big things but the goal now isn't that longevity and fitness with strong full muscles and hopefully as you mentioned adequately strong tendons and ligaments. I've been reading that 16-18 sets can give optimal growth and that's the number of sets per muscle group I'm working in the vicinity of at this point. Well it feels good to be picking a direction that feels like a good fit.

LOL ... uncomfortable about talking about our things out here in public, but if you mean what I hope:) you mean, my things were only medium things, not like the numbers you did.

I still wanna leave the Gym feeling a sense of accomplishment more than a sense of "Oh Fuck, What Did I Just Do To Myself!?" TimeUnderTension lets me do that. All kindsa variations ... do regular Reps super slowly, do pauses at peak contraction, or at that lift's sticking point ... whatever the muscle feels most, with the least f=ma, the experiment never ends.

Had to take the day off today my crazy abdominal/digestive problems blew up on me out of nowhere. I had an appointment with complex hernia surgeon scheduled a CT to see if they can see anything. Headed home instant nausea not supposed to be able to throw up after that hiatal hernia surgery but I’m an overachiever and found a way.

Brutal day fever and shivers all night I think I just came through the peak of whatever the fuck is going on. Tomorrow is a new day

I’m just waking up again tried to sleep it off didn’t get to sleep till after 3:30 woke up the first time soaking wet from sweating. Feeling a little hungover’ish but definitely better hopefully it will hold thanks so much for the prayers that was a brutal day and night. Not sure WTH it was I did hit it with ivermectin and doxycycline so that might have helped

you think it's just your belly acting up or maybe a touch of food poisoning ? did you grab any thing odd or different to eat ?

I say it’s acting up but that’s not an accurate description it’s got paralytic issues so blockages/impingements etc and the backup becomes toxic and other side effects. Nothing really clears it. Countless specialists have been unable to find any answers or a clear diagnosis of what it is and what causes it. The latest attempts to at least mitigate the symptoms is senna a stomach irritatant that occasionally causes the bowels to contract and move blockages and suppository meds but neither work that well. I have the CT and rectal minommetry testing coming up. This shits been ongoing for 11 years so I don’t have high hopes for a solution

I had bad intestinal issues as a teenage, nothing seemed to help. Finally had an exploratory surgery and they removed everything that isn’t 100% vital to life including a few feet of intestines. The wound of course got infected and I was in hospital for two weeks instead of two days. Ultimately I felt better but root cause is still unknown.

Damn Monsoon, that's crazy even this Dr said at my age I don't want to risk getting something cut then having it move to the next thing because of the domino potential. I'm so glad yours cleared up what a blessing. This shit is beyond demoralizing it will wear me the fuck out most days.
