FREE.......my wife cuts mine....but the she uses a #1 and buzzes it. Not going to sit in line in a barber shop for 30-45 min, 10 minutes to finally cut it and then pay$35-$40. My wife can cut my hair the same way in the same time for free and she has never been a barber or stylist.
haha well, I think just about anyone could do a buzz cut! I wouldn't pay for that either

95% of the time I cut my own hair. After all those years in the military you learn how to fade your hair by feel. I don't even use a mirror to do the back anymore. This saved me around 20k over 22 years, since we are required to get a haircut every week.

However, every once in a while, like for a show, I will rock a horseshoe flattop, which is outside my expertise. The local barber shops charge $15 for the military cuts. I usually give them a $5 tip, as that is not an easy cut to pull off. A lot of the newer barbers won't even try. They might do the fade, but they always ask one of the older barbers to come over and do the horseshoe.

For those of you who still have hair and don't buzz your noggin, what you paying for a haircut? My guy, normal barber, not a stylist like @JackD goes to, just raised his price to $30. Dude finishes my hair in like 10 min, think he just priced me out. $35 with tip for a 10min buzz at most? C'mon guy.
My guy will cut my hair, trim my beard, and shave the monkey hair out of my ears, nose and eyebrows for $21. I finally waved the white flag and had him shave everything off, as my "bird's nest" flat top was inching toward a pseudo-mohawk as my hair continued to fall out. Now he just shaves my head and does the beard trim for the same amount. I suppose I could do it myself, but I've been going weekly to this dude for 20 years, and I just like going and shooting the shit.

I use a Pitbull shaver twice a week on my hair (or lack thereof)... works pretty good and only takes about 5 minutes to complete.

This is a complicated question. Quite the backstory, but will keep it quick. She charges $25, but I usually throw in $20 tip. She does a great job, is hot, and has been cutting my hair for a long time. She opened her own salon now, and rarely does men’s cuts anymore or any cuts in general particularly without a booking well in advance. So, I realize she is doing me a solid by continuing to cut my hair.

I’m old, don’t like change, and therefore I have to overpay.

My local barber charges $17. He does a fair job. Not good or bad. He does the neck, eyebrows and ears. I usually leave him $25. But my hair grows ridiculously slow. I only need a haircut once every three months.

Been shaving my head for the most part since I was a kid. I hate my hair haahaah its really wavy but it wont stay up , I don't get the fro. When its long it goes into perfect curls like I did it on purpose , like those big 70's curls girls had.

I keep a horse trimmer on the bathroom shelf. every few days BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz
