my last prep I noticed a big extension from the growth.. wondering if it ever goes down once you stop usage?
I was on 10IUs per day for a solid 2-3 months... probably 6-8ius prior to that for 6 months...

and I def noticed when I completely relaxed my abdominals.. i had a strong turtle shell... been off the GH for a couple weeks now as Im taking a year off from competing...

From what I understand, that extension is from a layer of visceral fat that appears behind the abdominal wall. I'm not sure how similar that is to normal adipose tissue and how it can be treated, but most of the guys who have gotten this side effect never stopped using GH, so we may not have enough evidence to make a conclusion. Most of the older "retired" bodybuilders are not prone to this occurence because the use of HGH has only been widespread for about the last 15 years or so. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the current guys when they come off later in their lives (if that ever happens). In your specific case, it all depends on how long you come off of it. Like I said, there are obviously no studies that I know of that have been done nor is there sufficient evidence that it is reversible or irreversible. The major question is, how do you plan to treat the situation? Will you continue to use GH in the future? Or is this turtle shell gut enough of a deterrent?

Look at pictures of Tom Prince after he retired. He has no GH gut now. Also look at Kevin Levrone. No GH gut there either. I think to some extent it has to do with the amount of feeding. The gut flora gets out of whack form all the food. Might want to try switching out some of your food stuffs for cottage cheese and real yogurt and some probiotics. You might also cut back on the food for a coiuple weeks to let your GI rest. Of concourse some of it is water retention from AAS and the GH and other peptides. A lot of carbs also contribute, especially simple carbs.

thanks, good to know.

Mine isnt from food, because ive never had the turtle shell in the past... and it was most noticable weeks before contest when I was super lean but when i relaxed my abs, it really POPPED...

Ill be off GH for a minimum of 6 months...and im not sure if ill use it again, as those who used know, it isnt a HUGE benefit, at least from my experience vs. Cost... but even 2% gains are better than none... we shall see...

I do feel better overall running it, so when I get back on, ill discuss with myself the pros and cons if and ONLY if the shell goes away over next few months.. if it does, ill run it again for contests

Im coming off everything for first time in 2 years... for 6-9 months and see how my recovery is

Consider using the GHRPs. They will give you a mild to moderate boost in GH and you don't get the sides of GH like CTS. You will get some mild wrist tightness and swelling in the hands if you really dose it all day long. It's very manageable and cheap. If you want the benefits of a little more GH and want to take a break for the recombinant then the peptides can be a good bridge/substitute. I credit these peps for healing my lower back and knees to the point where I am close to PRs at 50 where before I could not even do deads and free squats anymore.

Interesting. I have lower back issues myself. May have to look into this. Thanks!

it def isn't food related, it HAS to be GH imo.. because I think its fair to say we all eat alot as bodybuilders, and during contest prep, body fat is lowering substantially...and since I had bumped dose for the show, the turtle shell became more promiment... although I sort of liked it lol I def didnt see changes when I wasnt using growth... and with prep, the meals are much smaller as you lose body fat

in regards to pro's... i think their high dose of gh/slin is the cause as others believe
