As a few of you know, I just had my patellar tendon put back together a couple weeks ago while prepping for Nationals.. Ive always kept my cycles simple, and never used growth hormone... Ive decided to take Shine's suggestion, and hit up some for my recovery... What protocol is recommended for injury recovery? If there is one? I dropped most of what I was running- currently only taking a low dose of test to maintain... Thoughts?

from a guy who has 14+ Under da knife (hip replace-shoulder-neck-back)
hgh will work but if ur not on it now i would lean toward igf-1 ...spot inject close to the injury say 40-60ed ....i would split it up and spread it around the area
also i wouldnt drop ur test down--keep it up around 200ew
i was under the knife for a neck fusion 2yrs ago..and did cjc/ghrp was back to duty in 5 weeks --thats full duty no pain...to this day i have to rem that my neck is fused...as for my hip -i hit up 5iu ed for a year and was running in no time
u can use mgf but it binds to igf anyways so.....igf-1 imho is the way to go AND REHAB
some deca would be nice too

IGF is good and there are some good studies showing it for ligament healing but imo run the gh to if you can, this doc got into a bit of trouble for using it for this purpose but he had great results. Personal experience it realy helped my Pec to heal up. Started at 5iu ed and went up 8iu.

Off Label Use of HGH to Treat Tendon and Ligament Injuries Remains Illegal.

January 17, 2009 by Millard Baker

Dr. Richard Rydze is a vocal advocate of the use of recombinant human growth hormone (rHGH) for the treatment of tendon and ligament injuries. Dr. Rydze found HGH to be highly effective for this purpose based on the clinical results from his human growth hormone research project involving over 200 patients over the course of 5 years. Unfortunately, Dr. Rydze, as a 22-year member of the Pittsburgh Steelers medical staff and an internal medicine specialist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) was not in the best position to conduct such controversial HGH research in his private practice.

Sorry to hear about your injury.... my team just had a guy blow out both knees preparing for nationals too. Surgery is next week for him, and he's looking in to HGH to help his recovery out too....

not running anything else as up until this point he competed only AAPF ( tested)

make sure to post how your recovery is going, I'll send him a link to this thread

Yeah buddy... I coach a team here in my area... I trained a 20 yr old kid for about 5 months prior to the UPA Nationals this year and he set every record in his class... lol... Two of my other guys both made attempts at new records and were damn close... Ive been told PT rehab is slow... We shall see..

I agree with this. IGF deca is gonna be a great combo.
Cissus, glucosamine as well, you need the repair products in there to help expedite healing as well, oh yeah extra Vit c too.

Have you used prolo JD? I just did a quick review of it online... Is it something that I could ask my regular ortho about? Or is it something Id need to see a prolo specialist for?

And Im pricing out some gh and igf now...

All of the suggestions above sound great. Don;t know much about prolo so can;t comment there. I'd just like to say regardless of what you run GB please remeber that its going to be a long road back no matter what. Take the good with the bad and keep focused on where you want to be...Always. This, more than anything will help you through the rehab process.

Sorry to sound all preachy like. Just not sure if you;ve had a major injury like this before so I'm just commenting on the way mine has went for my terrible triad rehab. Also, I have a friend up here who had the same injury. I'll ask him what he may suggest along the way to help you through.

Yeah newf, I remember your posts on CS about your injuries... Ive had both PCLs replaced in the last 13 yrs in separate occurrences... And despite the in depth surgerys on both of those, I bounced back fairly quickly... I keep being told that PT repair is an easier surgery, but tougher to come back from...

Regardless, I appreciate the encouragement bro, Ive faced plenty of challenges and overcame them, I can get past this too...

All I do is lay around the house at night now though, I havent watched this much TV in years! I told one of my girls I feel so gay watching so much retarded reality tv and she needs to fuck me good tomorrow night to make me feel like a man again, lol...
