I absolutely agree with this...leave it up to the churches if they want to marry gays,then its on them either way.
Personally I'm against Gay marriages. Call it a civil union but not a marriage.
So a man and a women gets a license to marry from the state.
They go to the court and they get married.
Now they have some legal benefits/protection and they get tax benefits.
Then a woman and a woman gets a license to marry from the state.
They to the court and they get married.
Now they have some legal benefits/protection and they get tax benefits.
But one you want to call a marriage and the other a civil union.
Why?
Whats the difference?
its not a religious issue but a legal issue.
Why should one have a different name?
