THey call them"johnies" around my area. They are mainly used to treat nerve pain, nerve damage. but if you take between 600-1200mgs of the stuff....u are floating and its like a happy pill. u just feel great like amazing. however, i did know someone who abused them and ended up having convulsions which can be a side effect but rare and only if abusing them and taking in high dosages.

happy they are helping u bro

Try Lyrica. It's much stronger IMO. Kind of pricey though.

Unfortuanately if they make you feel amazing, they most certainly will be abused by many.

I have degeneration of the disks between the L4 and L5. Almost bone on bone. I tried the 300mg and only use it when the pain is bad. It works wonders. I do get kind of drowsy but sleep well and I wake up with no pain. I work with a guy who also take gabapentin for back pain and he take it every day. He says they the drowsiness goes away eventually.

I have chronic hiccups and my doctor just prescribed some to see whether it might help block the nerve signal that causes them. I will pick up my script this week.

I had the same thing. Turned out to be acid reflux. Prilosec cured the hiccups.

I get those damn hiccups too sometimes, lasting all day and evening and all damn night to where I cant sleep sometimes for days at a time, when I go high test and and high tren for a few weeks. It is so much better with low test, and yes Prilosec helped stop them for me also.

I wish Prilosec cured them. But I take that and it doesn't help at all.
