I've never brined a brisket, I've rubbed it the night before but never a brine. What would you suggest?

Just rubbed it with olive oil and then rubbed the Holy Cow rub into it from base to tip slowly and increasing in intensity over a period of time.
Just about 1/2 pound left now as my chica eats very little and I have been savoring it.
