here's my faveI've never brined a brisket, I've rubbed it the night before but never a brine. What would you suggest?
Then come to the dark side brother.... try the cherry-citrus beef.......You can have that citrus rub, would be good on chicken but I am not letting it touch my beef A1.
That guajillo rub is awesome! You told me about it on WCBB. I did it on a tri tip then used the leftover to make a sauce. I have done it 2x as my fam LOVES IT

Guajillos are so damn good!!! Good on everything.My favorite rub recipe. I'll use hickory for a hot smoke then reduce heat and let it ride
Guajillo rub
1 # guajillo peppers dried in oven then ground fine
5 cups salt
¼ cup ground black pepper
½ cup granulated garlic
1 cup sugar
½ cup ground cumin
¼ cup ground coriander
1 cup paprika
I bet this will be awesome for Tri Tip too!here's my fave
1/3 cup Salt and pepper mix (4salt/1 pepper I use black and mix a big batch, it won't go bad)
1T Fresh oregano, very roughly chopped
1/4 cup Dry oregano
8oz cherry juice bottled (not maraschino)
2 oranges, cut into eighths
1 cups Olive oil
8 Cloves of garlic, crushed
6 cups water
If the liquid isn't enough add Water to cover
