Several years ago, I would say maybe a decade or more that they were talking the best place to invest your money would be in commodities such as food. There was talk that buying stock in food would be the best investment long-term. Didn't think about it or even give it a second thought because I thought hell food we have to have how could they make it so expensive that we couldn't afford it and somebody could actually make money.. for 10 plus years guess what you can't afford to buy eggs you can't afford to buy anything but beans and rice so what does that do for the general public?? Makes us more and more dependent on the government and in turn what does that do?? Makes us vote the way they want us to vote, think the way they want us to think, and makes us less independent and able to cause a ruckus when something is not going the way it should.

This has been very well thought out and planned and it all happened right underneath our noses.

Paid $3.70 today for an 18 egg carton at Walmart. Carton says "Large" eggs, which could be a bit of a marketing ploy, I bought the store brand ("Great Value"), they were not brown eggs, or organic ... just plain old chicken eggs. Hell of a difference between $3.70 and almost $9 .....

I do remember you talking here months ago about the price of poultry, either the eggs or the meat, can't remember. I'm looking at the dates on your list, and some may coincide with when "Bird Flu" was going around. I got that from the business pages back then. The industry either took it upon themselves or may have been ordered to destroy their stock for the general good ... a little bit like the automobile recalls we always read about.

None of that explains the difference between your price and mine within one day, however

This sure seems like the reality for the majority of the world. Nearly 60% of Americans have less than $1000 in savings... Shameful for "the richest country on earth" when fixing one tooth can bankrupt 60% of the population.

Tyson foods saw they were selling less premium cuts of beef because Americans are broke as fuck and raised their chicken prices 20% in a big "fuck you" to the American people. Green line must go up, profits must be maintained, shareholders must be appeased, ALL HAIL THE GREEN LINE. Capitalism is going to starve this planet in order for 100 people to hoard everything that's left.

The compulsive need to own or influence everything the light shines upon is a mental disease.

“not much of a conspiracy theorist.”
As to infer you’re a …… what, to the contrary??
Not jabbing at you, I just curiously ponder what someone considers themselves as the opposite — an “establishment follower”?
Conspiracy is more factually the norm so far as things operate in today’s highly manipulated system.
I’m a Realist, and the facts more often than not point to a coordinated “conspiracy.”

That price would be more fitting if the eggs were non gmo, non corn and non soy fed. It can be a bit challenging and pricey to get high quality eggs.

Same. Local grocery stores is selling 60 ct for $21 and Walmart is selling 60 ct for $9. The base commissary doesn't carry any lower grade eggs, so they are all expensive.

I still paid 4.99 for organic pasture eggs. Roasted chicken is $8. Better to get some and roast them yourself.

I heard there is an avian flu in poultry right now.
