I don't take an aas. But my mother had breast cancer and she just went off her meds after five years so there is a bottle of femara a strong anti estrogen drug lying around. Would it be worth it too take this for myself instead of trash. I was thinking maybe 1/4 of a pill per day. Would this be counter productive or worth it while not geared up. Would stacking with dhea perhaps work? Feedback would be great.

I see no benefits to taking Femara if you are not using steroids.

I've read that DHEA doesn't do much for men. DHEA can significantly elevate female testosterone levels. 2.5mg of letrozole once a week can make a man's testosterone levels supraphysiologic.

Letrozole in men:

Abstract: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18426834

DHEA in women:

If you read the study the objective is to see if it can normalize testosterone is severely obese men.
Those men probably got much higher estrogen and lower test then the normal person.

Not so sure you will see the same result in normal people. It could even lower your estrogen levels lower then recommended and you get the sides from that.

Interesting article by the way, thanks for posting it.

I read all of the studies I post. The same effects are observed in normal men who are not obese or hypogonadal.

So according to that study taking this medication in someone who is overweight does cause a rise in both bound and free testosterone levels..that's pretty interesting.

It seems to help to some degree in all men. I wonder what the best method would be. The 2.5mg does once or twice a week or a smaller dose administered daily.
