This why a few have taken over using socialism and an excuse. Like Castro, they go in am make promises to take the wealth from the rich and distribute it equally. The poor and uneducated love this concept because now they won't have to do anything to live a better life. Hugo Chavez got voted into office under the Fifth Republic Movement (MVR) which is nothing more than a socialist take over. This is when the wealthy and upper middle class started leaving in droves. Once Chavez completely took over government he changed his party affiliation in 2007 to the National Socialist Party of Venezuela. Nicholas Maduro was Chavez VP and now carries the torch. Once Chavez took over he began to nationalizing heavy oil projects taking over companies like Exxon, Chevron and Conoco. Chavez then started using revenue from these nationalized companies like his own personal piggy bank. His social policies resulted in overspending that caused shortages in Venezuela and allowed the inflation rate to grow to one of the highest rates in the world . Sound at all familiar? The same thing happened in Cuba, the same in Argentina, and if we open our eyes enough we can actually see this taking place right here in America.

All of this done under the disguise of Socialism which always means everything for the dictator, his family and circle of friends while the people remain broke, hungry and uneducated. This same thing was done in Cuba and Argentina by the Peronist. All of these were very prosperous countries before the greedy too over with offer of a sandwich and a glass of wine to the poor and uneducated. The policies and tactics of Chavez are now carried on by Nicholas Maduro. Chavez use to tell his country that once said that it is "bad" to be rich. Sorry to tell you guys but the same thing is being done in the USA. How does a poor military officer rise to be come a $billionare while the people are starving. How did Fidel Castro, who told his people he was living in a poor fishing village become a $billionare? How did Juan Perez of Argentina become one of the wealthiest leaders in the world?

Yano, this seems to be one of the latest talking points of all the left wing media, CNN, MSNBS, Time magazine, News week, Atlantic magazine, NY Times etc. One of them starts this and the rest follow in lock-step because its planned propaganda. These people all want us to believe Trump is the next Hitler. Orban wanted to discuss with who the rest of the world sees as the next US President, the “possibilities of peace”, which is the latest stop in the prime minister’s solo run to secure a ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war. So what is the big objection to Orban, he doesn't fall in line whit the globalist running the EU. They do not want peace and Hungry does not want this uncontrolledly illegal immigration that has completely destroyed the EU and England. Unlike the globalist agenda the EU is pushing, Orban says, "We [Hungarians] are not a mixed race and we do not want to become a mixed race." The globalist EU wants to destroy cultures with open borders. He also supports Christianity which seems to be a problem with globalist. In fact, Orban claims the EU is anti-nationalist and anti-Christian. In case you guys haven't noticed, Trump speaks kindly of all global leaders and usually gets along very well with them. Does he mean what he publicly says? I seriously doubt it because Trump has learned how to work the room. I was very popular as a football coach because like my AD said, I knew how to work the room when he had district meetings. I go there early in all the state and district meeting just to walk around and shake hands. I had so many compliment to every one I talked to and spoke very highly of them. When I needed things, I had no problem getting them. Trump works the room too and is very good in what he does. In NYC the Italian guys who worked for me called this smoodging. They were amazed in how I was able to make customers feel like they were absolutely the only one there. The British say it is arse kissing, I call it social diplomacy.

Quit falling for this MSM propaganda and look past Google searches that are know to filter out any truth. MAGA is not a plan, this is the people of the USA who want to see the country prosper. It was the people who are proud of this country, proud of being American who worked in grass roots efforts to take of a failing Republican party and make it one that represents the people of this country. This movement is not about Trump, it is about making the country that many of us gave our lives for the greatest place in the world, where families can get work hard, get ahead, and own their own home. It started out long before the Tea Party. Our government representative quit listening and quit representing those who voted them in office. This movement will go on with or without Trump because it is about everyday American family that is struggling to live the American dream. This is something every country should do and feel. I have never understood why people want to live in a country they seem to hate or would rather see as 2nd or 3rd best. Change from a country everyone wants to migrate to to one like Venezuela,, where everyone is trying to leave. Yea, Argentina for instance took several loans out with the IMF. But they had no intention of paying any of it back. Argentina has had a history of allowing dictators to run the country who promise equality for all. EVERY TIME it turns out the same and only the dictator and their inner circle prosper. Argentina has bounced between socialist leadership to Military dictators. After the last military dictator propped up by the US Government, Videla took over the country and started executing opposition. The military dictators held power until Carlos Menem (peronist/socialist) finally was elected. Inflation started but the country prospered and the peso to dollar was about 1:1. Of course things started getting worse and worse as Menem started taking more and more for he and his family. The people elected Rua to fix the problem Menem caused. Of course there was a socialist coup to get him out of office and he was replaced until there were elections. The elected President who was socialist, did nothing to solve the issues and instead the economy was close to collapse. People feared that their life's savings were at risk so the government invented what was called the Corralito in 2001. This shut down the banks preventing a run on money. My wife lived through there since 1962. and was there when her entire life's saving got frozen by the government, now the dollars they once had was only worth 1/4 of what it was worth and inflation continued. . Then the money was converted to the peso and Argentinans lost most of the value of their money after this. The government only allowed citizens to have 250 pesos a month for almost a year. My wife ended up losing most everything she has spent a life time working for. Previously under the military dictatorship, she had all of the records of her getting a college education and her license to practice law destroyed. She was a labor lawyer which the dictatorship considered subversive. Today, there is no way to prove she spend a day at the university and no way to prove she ever had a license to practice law. Most of her money was gone and to date has never been recovered. Banks most likely stole the money with the help of the government, yet still the people kept electing socialist leadership who continued to borrow money from the IMF, steal the money for themselves and their families, privatizing petroleum and every other country and taking the profits for their own use. When Covid hits the socialist government shut the economy down for over a year. It has been nothing but a economic disaster since then. So Argentina's socialist government uses the IMF as their personal piggy bank knowing the country will eventually owe the money to the IMF. The government also privatizes business and takes in the profits, even the airline industry and agriculture industry. While the President and their inner circle globe trot around the world living the life, the people suffer, low wages, high inflation, high crime rates and are unable to pay for necessities of life like food and electricity. My wife's mother sits in a cold house with no heat during the winter because she can no longer pay the high cost of utilities. We are unable to send money because of banking restrictions placed by the socialists. The only thing this socialist government has been about to distribute around to the people of Argentina equally is poverty and piss poor public service. The rest has been stolen. This is absolutely sicken and to hear my wife's side of the story make you want to cry. She left Argentina after the Corralito in 2001 and will never return and is still scare it is going to happen again here. Argentina still owes the IMF $44 billion.

I have to disagree here. In his private life he's made and lost a lot of money. Pretty par for the course for large scale real estate developers. But on balance, he made more than he lost, to the tune of several billion dollars. If that's no big deal, then go ahead and do it yourself. No one is stopping you. After all, any moron can do it, right?

What he also did was create a billion dollar brand. Prior to him entering politics, you could slap the brand "Trump" on it, and the real estate value went up. Like him or hate him, that's just a fact. Can anyone do it? Go ahead, start the "Yano" brand, and watch the millions just role in. After all, any moron can do it, right?

When it comes to politics, he distinguished himself from a large group of pretty strong republican candidate in 2015. He was the only guy with the stones to attack the immigration issue, which exposed most of the repubs for uni-party squishes that many conservatives are sick of. Was that a stupid thing to do, was it genius, or was he simply the only guy authentic enough to say what he really thinks? Perhaps the latter.

Right now, a lot of voters are sick of inauthentic crap from our institutions. We're lied to by the media, we're lied to by the FBI, CIA, DHS, CDC, FDA, etc. We're told Biden is "sharp as a tack" and then they do a 180 without even skipping a beat once it's clear he's a vegetable. Now we're told Kamala is a tough on crime prosecutor, was never in charge of the border fiasco, is a brilliant African-American, etc.

Trump exaggerates, sure. But he'll give you his opinion, and people appreciate that. He's authentic. Imperfect yes, but authentic. My FIL, a life-long union Ford autoworker who voted Dem his entire life, voted for Trump both times before he died, and all his union buddies did as well. And they did so, because he spoke directly to them, not down to them, and then did what he said he was going to do.

He said he'd move the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem (so did Bush, and Obama), but he actually did it. He said he was going to build a border wall, and did as much as he could despite the uniparty resistance, he said he was going to redo NAFTA and he did it. He said he was going to force China to trade fairly, and took steps to do it. Good heavens, for a lying sack of crap, he actually tried to do what he said he was going to do. And working class people saw that with their own eyes, despite the media telling them the opposite.

Good economy, low inflation, no foreign wars, Abraham accords (peace in Middle East), reduced illegal immigration, high minority employment, reduced trade deficit, reduced taxes. I'll take that kind of failure from 2025-2028.

No party is talking about the deficit, and that slow motion train wreck will be just as painful as a war with China or Russia. And the solution there is going to be no fun for anyone.

When we see the oligarchs head explode at public speeches, or Victoria Newland or her husband Robert Kagan or Beebee die suddenly of acute lead poisoning, then I will think the people have a chance to see change. There is a balance to be informed and to remain logical and rational. That is a challenge. The term jingoistic throws up the warning signs to me. It can be used as a pejorative even when true national interests are in the interest of the people. When the last time foreign policy was actually in the interest of the American people? A long ass time ago i it ever was. maybe when Lincoln tried to partner with Russia to built the trans Siberian railroad. Or Andrew Jackson's battle against central banking.

Granted. However, todays version of politics with the “MAGA” GOP cult and “Libtard extreme liberal” DEM cult being as they are — logical and rational balance exists only within the tiniest minority of any involved with politics…. and that minority is irrelevant / ineffective / powerless.
And ultimately, politics isn’t about rationality nor logic — it’s about control.
