Well, who is in charge of the dept of health in the USA? Lets see, an obese mentally ill man pretending to be a woman.

Maybe the Lucky Charms identify as healthy food?

This came out over 20 weeks back, but has resurfaced it appears. In the study, it also points out:

"While a conceptually impressive effort, we propose that the chosen algorithm is not well justified and produces results that fail to discriminate for common shortfall nutrients, exaggerate the risks associated with animal-source foods, and underestimate the risks associated with ultra-processed foods. We caution against the use of Food Compass in its current form to inform consumer choices, policies, programs, industry reformulations, and investment decisions." - the table wasn't intended to show that cereal was healthier than other choices, but the opposite."

They point out that their own research is possibly flawed based off of crappy epidemiology research.

I'd take it with a grain of salt.

And fukk me, I can make a case that anything is healthy in the right context.....:D

I remember eating boxes of Alpha Bits back in the 90's because it was a favorite of Dan Duchaine, and IIRC, he made the case that it had a higher dextrose content in it for post-training, than other cereals with high HFCS:D I miss those days, lol.

So that's why I got fat. I was eating too much ground beef and not enough frosted mini wheats. Damn those whole eggs.

Slic.
