A legend in strength and sports Dr Fred Hatfield has passed away .
He was a multi -time IPF World Champion and as many will know at 45 years old he squatted 1014 lbs for a world record in the 225lbs weight class which at the time was the biggest successful competition squat ever .
He will also be remembered as an educator and innovator in all things strength and he had a varied background in athletic endeavours ranging from gymnastics , olympic weightlifting and bodybuilding . RIP Dr Squat .

To correct my first post the 1014 lb squat was at a bodyweight of 255 lbs .

Anyway here's an awesome seminar from the great man because it's through education that he touched so many and will be fondly remembered for .

Sad to see him go. Sad week last week. Lost an Uncle and Dr. Squat in one week.

Was interesting to see him use Keto diet to slow the Cancer down as much as he did. 3 months to add 5yrs and it seems like Cancer may have not been what killed him.
