No way. I put it in the fridge till it was around 55. Essentially sipped it over 4 hours. It was so good. I have some others from 2017 and 2018. And you’re welcome!

4 hrs no doubt! What is the ABV? 15%? Never had the goose island stouts. Tried Dragon's milk barrel aged stout last Xmas. It was real good but nothing to compare it to.

Welp I cracked it open. And it’s delicious!! 5 stars!! Thicker consistency than your average stout. Good mouth feel. You get awesome notes of coffee, chocolate, whiskey and even some vanilla. So good! View attachment 13308View attachment 13309

I believe since Covid they did. You can only get it at the brewpub during the release. Hands down way better than the Elder.

“It is a Triple IPA, meaning that it is higher in alcohol and has tons of hops. Though the ABV usually finishes at about 10.25%, it is remarkably dry for the amount of malt used in this recipe. Loaded with hop aroma and flavor, Younger is well-balanced with malt and a lingering dry and bitter finish. We brewed Younger for the first time in 2005 as a winter seasonal release, building upon the Pliny the Elder recipe while pushing the envelope with malt, hops, and alcohol just to see how far we could go. Fun fact: Younger has always been at least double dry-hopped (some years even quadruple dry-hopped!) long before DDH became a “thing”!”
