Any of you old bastards deal with any of these autoimmune digestive / GI issues before? I’ve had digestive issues that have been stuff I could deal with for years but I got pretty sick this year and it seems to have triggered Crohn’s disease that was probably laying dormant... genetic mutation from years of cheap beer and Doritos lmao... anyhow just curious if anyone has experience BBing and dealing with these. I have had to make big diet changes, and had to do a short courseon prednisone for to combat some very unfriendly peripheral arthritis that had me nearly unable to walk for a week or two... jacked my heart rate and BP up way more than teen ever did. I’m hanging in there along with my TRT and occasional blast and cruise, old man cranking but I’m hoping that the bad stuff is behind me.
In the near future may be going on one of those serious biological drugs at some point soon to keep shit from getting out of hand again, as this stuff has really impacted my quality of living in the past months. Humira was one that was mentioned. Pretty serious stuff based on all the gnarly side affects they mention on their commercials. Part of me thinks with strict diet considerations I could probably keep this thing from taking me out but after the past few weeks ending up in the ER twice I’m not sure I want to risk it.
