I forget what I've posted here but I had a major medical injury back in May and it has not healed yet but I am Persevering, because that is what I do.

I couldn't lift for over 4 months. I am 2 months to the day back in the game.

Several singles at 415 on squats with sleeves only and a back-off set at 3 plates for 6 reps.

53 years old. Still natty. :)

How does the foot feel while you're under the bar, and how does it feel in the following days?
Are you deadlifting too; seems like that would affect the feet the same way(?)
How frequently are you squatting, or doing anything else that loads the feet?
Are you still under medical supervision or out on your own now?

Yesterday while squatting no pain. 2 Sundays ago I did have lots of pain so I stopped. Last night and today some pain, but not horrible. Going up and down stairs is not fun.

I squat once a week (Sunday) and deadlift one a week (Wednesday)

I have an MRI scheduled for Dec 5th.

@FLEXjs

Good to see you coming back. You have enough experience to take it at the pace which is needed.

It helps me out to see this. I am struggling with the mostly mental side (but still have physical issues) of my spinal injury a few years back. Dealing with the loss of strength, pisses me off. But seeing you deal with the same tell me to just shut the fuk up and try to approach the best I can.

Keep posting up vids. It is great to see another overcoming the hurdles that pop up.

Nice work. (still jealous of that rack!) (not Lisa's...your Rouge ;) )

Tell those fuckers it is October and waiting 2 months isn't going to help any,
Keep pushung through brother even if the weight isn't there yet keeping moving is HUGE for your mental state.
Cheers

My super-uninformed self suspects squatting or pulling hundreds of lbs on immobile feet might cause less pain than anything without added weight where the feet flex, like stair climbing or walking. That monolift attachment may be doing you a bigger favor than Rogue envisioned.

I've been waiting since mid July for that MRI.
