Just to update my log.

Went away for work so diet and training suffered.

BW this week 201 up from 199.

Wrote my level 1 referee exam for my Fed and passed.

Doing my practical at a meet in December on the Saturday for the tested division. Then Sunday I will be competing in the untested division, 198lb masters.

Stopping cut, will maintain current weight to compete at 198. Blast and prep starts immediately as I am 12 weeks and 1 day out.

Meet Prep Begins.

As mentioned this week is about finding my starting training numbers, by finding a heavy triple

Week 1 day 1

Squat 3RM
135x5
185x3
225x3
275x3
315x3
345x3
345 x 3 is the number to work out my squat training #s for prep. It felt heavy but video review shows it moved well.

Bench 50% 4x3
95x8
135x5
155x4x3

Deadlift 50% 4x3
135x5
225x3
255x4x3
So I deadlift sumo these days, I typically put my big toe at the ring on a deadlift bar. Today I went about 8 inches wider to feel it out and it didnt feel too bad. Probably be different at a heavier weight mind you

Now for some prospective I weighed in this week at 198lbs.

Last meet at 242lbs
Squat 275 torn hammy
Bench 265 presses but red lights 285
Deadlift 501

Last gym PRs at 220ish lbs
Squat 385
Bench 285x2
Deadlift 500

So strength really hasnt suffered much cutting 44lbs. Now lb for lb I am a much stronger lifter.

Meet goals still deciding but right now thinking
Squat 405
Bench 305
Deadlift 540

Would be nice to break 1300 but right now doesnt look like it.

Ok I said I would start a log here, so here goes.

48yrs old this year, and have been powerlifting probably about 3yrs or so now. Was a fat fuck at one point but been lifting again for about 7yrs again. Natty up until about 4 or 5 yrs ago. Naturopath doc put me on HCG and Ralox as my test was low. Found this too expensive so switched to UGL test. I blast and cruise now. Cruise at 200mg a week, biggest blast was last meet prep, 700mg test, Halo, Drol, Var, Provi, and tore a hamstring 4 weeks out from meet, so numbers were not great, especially considering all the gear I ran.

Current BW 214, I competed last year at 242 but cutting to 180 then a bulk to 198 where I will stay and compete at going forward.

Currently was just cruising at 200mg per week but yesterday bumped up to 300, next week will be the same as plan to add some Tren A I have sitting here for recomp effect. Plan for May is a 5 week mini blast, Tren A 30mg ED with 50mg Test ED plus I have been running GH at 4iu split 2x a day since Feb.

Those are good numbers to try and hit man. I opened with 405 squat and I was last guy in 2nd flight that day.

Thsnks brother, those in my mind right now are thirds... we will see if anything changes as prep wears on and the gear kicks in
