Once they suspected something it was just a matter of following him around town, watching what he mailed and how often he received from china...etc.

Its simply a foolish thing to do. If you order from China, have the packs go to different places on a rotating basis. Never ever to your home or place traceable to yourself. Foolish. (there are more in-depth and efficient ways that this)
As far as cash and assets in your possession, never have those things accessible to be confiscated by LE in the event of an arrest.The war on drugs in a very lucrative business for LE. All our assets can be confiscated on the basis that those assets were purchased by the use of illegal means. LE get to play bank repo man and keep all.
