Cheat meal and eating junk food?

Remember there is a difference between cheating and a refeed. A cheat is just that...it's not structured and the only reason to do it is for mental sanity.

OTOH, a refeed should be structured, and not more often than every 1.5 weeks. It's typically 90% carbs, and can range anywhere between 200-600 additional carbs. The 600 range is for the really big guys. THe reason for the refeed is to prevent or to attempt to reverse metabolic damage while dieting.

My favorite cheat is pizza. My favorite refeed food are flour tortillas with honey.

I think a cheat day is fine if it's scheduled, can help to keep a lot of people both sane and on track with their nutrition.

My idea of a cheat meal is probably completely different to most on here, but when I do it's something I look forward to. I would very rarely cheat on the spur of the moment as my meals are all cooked and organised in advance... but yeah, I look forward to eating out and trying new dishes with family & friends.
