RETA is less likely in small doses to cause gastroparesis, but your situation is unique. Probably best to wait for FDA approval and work with a doc that understands the big picture. Everyone I know that has switched from SEMA to RETA has noted no GI sides and less appetite suppression but continued fat loss. I would most certainly avoid tirzepatide.
Awesome, thank you. I haven’t heard much on this one. I will definitely look like it. Thank you!

My blood sugar was hovering around 100 for a couple of years. I think my highest was 102, and then I started taking Berberine HCL - I think 500mg 2x a day. Last bloodwork back in March I was at 82.
Last time I had mine checked in November it was 114. I get my blood work done again in November I’m interested to see what it will be.

I posted the recent clinical trial papers, can't remember which post but if you search you should find them. They are also on line, should be able to Google them and other papers related to the new 3 receptor drugs. Very interesting research should be the cutting edge weight loss drugs next in line. Still, while the general public abuses them, I believe much lower dosing combined with dietary discipline/exercise and with or without light PED use to maintain/increase lean will have the best long term outcome without excessive risk.

I’ll search for them on here. I’m very interested.
Oh yes I’ve seen some drastic weight loss in so many people abusing some of the other brands.

I've read multiple posts over at PM that they tried this, and were unhappy with its affect on BG, that the berberine HCL was more effective, albeit at a dose of 1.5g/day, as opposed to 150mg or so with the dihydro...
Yep. Anecdotal evidence shows the only thing dihydro is better at than berberine HCL is emptying your bank account. Studies might show one thing, but it isn't transferring well to our demographic.

Berberine HCL does have low bioavailability and it doesn't last long in the system. It is supposed to be taken with every meal. Justin Harris claims to have the only time released version, Suppressor Max, with Troponin Supplements formerly 1st Detachment Nutrition. However, despite being an ambassador, I cannot recommend over any other berberine HCL, as I have never tried it.

Well fuck y'all then. I was just trying to be helpful because I know @Kluso is such berberine nerd. I'll go back my wheelhouse of spicy foods and burning buttholes.

It goes back to the creatine monohydrate vs. other forms of creatine. Sure, the other forms may absorb at a higher rate, but if creatine monohydrate absorbs at a rate of 99% do you really want to spend 3-4 times as much for something that absorbs at fractions of a percent more? I know I don't. I would just take 1 more gram of creatine monohydrate.
