What would you suggest, she use or do to stop or slow the process.

A couple on HRT T pellets have tried FIN 2.5 mg EOD and it has helped reduce associated hair loss, it does work, will cut the circulating DHT to a level below the normal range for a female even with a total T in the 300 - 400 range (measured by MS/LC both T and DHT), but that was with exogenous androgen use. Dampens the increase in energy, libido and drive with the T however, no surprises there. FIN would only be helpful IF the hair loss is due to androgens. She should get a Dx from a derm that specializes in hair loss to make sure FIN would be an appropriate choice. If it is female pattern or some other cause, FIN won't help and IMO FIN would be the last option. The drug is toxic, way too many long term psych sides associated with it even after discontinuation, it messes with neuro chemistry. Lastly, absolutely can't donate blood or become pregnant on FIN. Not much helps with hair growing back. Several that I know have tried everything topical, PRP, etc. with no luck. Genetics is the key we haven't figured out yet. Others may chime in with their experiences.

There are others in her family who have lost their hair all about the same age of 35. So It may be more of a genetic thing. she does have a higher than normal T levels. She is the strongest natural woman I have ever come across, carries tons of muscel, with out androgens in her system. she even has messed up cycles like 1 every 3 or 4 months, That’s why I was thinking her hormones are all messed up, Maybe the best thing would be to have her get tested, and get blood work done, to see what’s up…

Thanks

They can do a scalp biopsy and determine the type of hair loss. Yes DHT and androgens are involved but that's way too simplistic. One of my clients is on a T pellet, she was a BCa survivor, anastrazole only and it was killing after her surgery (hair was thin and frail, bone density down, felt like shit, joints hurt, just a mess). She's on a 200 mg T pellet every 12 weeks with anastrozole and that keeps her E2 < 5 per her oncologist. Her circulating T is about 600 ng/dl at 4 weeks post pellet and about 200 just before the next pellet. Her hair looks the best it has in her life and grows like crazy. Thick, full and rich looking. For others just a little T and the shit starts falling out like they just went through chemo. She feels fantastic despite the low circulating E2.

Don't know if she hit menopause but it can really fuuk a womans hormones up. You said she had breast cancer? Sometimes the Dr. force the body into menopause after BC.Not sure if that's her caseor not.

Some women have some small success with biotin to thicken the hair but its real hit and miss. Another thing, if she is going to het her thyroid levels checked, she should do it before adding in biotin; it throws off the blood work.

I will take a stab at this, OMS, as I have treated my wife for same condition with great success. It’s something you do in steps. Example, if you resolve in step 1 no need for step 2. Each step give 3 weeks for results .

1. Use ketocanozole shampoo (like Nizoral OTC). Must leave on minimum 10 minutes . Counteracts DHT in follicle . You can use micro needling for best results.
2. Continue with shampoo, needling, and incorporate RU58841 serum . Apply to hair, brush in , and leave in.
3. Continue with #1 &#2 but incorporate Fenosteride. As mentioned , it has side effects and should be reserved if 1 & 2 don’t produce desired results.
** I’m confident this process works ! Stay away from Monoxidil . Worthless IMO

I use different oils, masks, and conditioners to care for my hair. Once a month, I do a special hair treatment, which nourishes and makes it healthy.

In this salon, I also do skin care treatments. Because of genetics, I have a lot of cellulite, even though I am only 20. This salon has a new procedure to reduce cellulite and smooth the skin. I like that they employ real specialists who graduated from the school of advanced aesthetics. In addition to these procedures, you can also get laser hair removal there. If you are looking for a good school in the beauty industry, at https://www.nwcollege.edu/programs/advanced-aesthetics, you can find the information you need.

there is a study (i'll try to find it) showing that 5mg a day did regrow hair in 70% of the women in the study. i think it worth a try but it will try a while to see results.
