One thing you learn in exercise science is we are all very unique. While human physiology is basically the same, we all react and get results different. Anyone that pushes a one size fits all program is a liar. I have a couple of colleagues that have interview most all of the current pros.....interestingly they all do the same basic workout and it is very high volume. So is that best for everyone? Absolutely not. Do what ever works. Mike Mentzer from what I understand did high volume most all of his career, then switched to this HIT stuff. This is honestly the same concept is Donte's Dogg Crapp workout. Nothing new. Some people love it and some people don't. Lifting weight is never outdated because its a matter of picking heavy shit up and putting heavy shit down.i started mentzer method and i have progress in increasing weights, when i cannot on volume training... i think human physiology is not changed and is not different so this method is not outdated if it worked back then it will work now too!
