Burlington police executed a search warrant Saturday morning at a house on Tucker Street and ended up seizing more than a pound of marijuana.
Police also arrested Steven Wayne Howard, 22, of Tucker Street, Burlington, and charged him with felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the sell/delivery of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule III controlled substance, according to a Burlington Police Department news release.
Police executed the search warrant at 9 a.m.
“During the execution of the search warrant, evidence was recovered that indicated the residence was being used for the use and sale of marijuana,” the release states.
Police allegedly seized 1.22 pounds of marijuana. Howard also is accused of possessing two glass pipes, digital scales and several bottles of steroids, according to warrants.
He was placed in Alamance County jail under $25,000 bond.
